“I really feel so lucky to be able to attend this seminar. Eleven days with each day was a different exciting experience. So I have learned a lot of knowledge from it, and it made me grow up.  First, I couldmeet many new friends, who are from other countries in the world like Lithuania, Peru, and South Africa… They are wonderful people. They are kind, energetic and enthusiastic. In particular, they are really smart in their ability to connect people through games, or team building activities.

Next, the Second chance training course helped me learn to listen and observe to improve myself. I have been listening to everyone’s experiences, along with the cultural and social diversity of each country. They have helped me to gain new knowledge in many areas that I couldn’t learn before.

“How to sympathy” is the third and most important thing which I learned from this seminar. The meetings with people with many difficulties in life, such as IDU, sex workers, drug users, LGBT or disadvantaged children and the elderly with the stories they shared about the reasons why they had to choose that path even though they didn’t want, help me change my mind a lot. They may have made mistakes in the past, but now they are trying to start a new life. So “Let’s eliminate stigma and love more”. That is the message I want to send to you after the end of the “second chance training course.”
