The job shadowing activities will offer a further opportunity for practical learning experience, intercultural dialogue & exchange of practices.Through job shadowing abroad, participants will gain valuable training and experience in the field. This will increase their capacity to address a variety of issues concerning offending youth (among them crime prevention & involvement into peers’ communities). The sending and the hosting organisations will develop a work plan aimed at: supporting the hosting organisation’s work, by involving youth workers in ongoing community projects related to reintegration of young (ex-)offenders.
Job shadowing drives learning between volunteers, host organization supervisors and staff. The hosting teams at each site will facilitate active involvement of participants in host families and community partners to facilitate safe, culturally immersive, and impactful learning experience.
